Stained Doors: Expose the Beauty of Wood Grains
Interior decoration is much more than applying paint to a room. The door is an integral part of the entire design scheme for the desired look of the room. Literally, opening the door to your house is like opening up your heart for your guests. The homeowner should consider the message they are conveying. There is a huge availability of stains and paint colors to satisfy the most creative interior designer.
Unfinished Doors for the Do-It-Yourselfers
Nick´s Building Supply has a wide array of unfinished doors already hung on doorframes. Unfinished wood materials include Brazilian mahogany, African mahogany, Oak, Maple and Knotty Alder.
Factory Finished Doors
Factory applied stains are lead free and made of environmentally friendly natural products. They do not use products with toxic chemicals which are harmful to humans and pets. All pre-finished, stained doors are hand processed with several coats of stain, sanding, and ultraviolet protection between each layer. The final coating has enough ultraviolet protection to resist sun fading over time.
The stained doors are cured for 48 hours and inspected for quality. Each door is painstakingly processed in 18 steps to ensure a beautiful finish. The stain allows the wood grain to be seen. Consequently, the door receives a unique character due to the pattern of the wood grain.
Suggestion to Allow the Stained Door to Pop
Consider using painted trim to contrast with the Stain Door. It will uniquely showcase the door, making a striking impression on the room or exterior walls.
Regardless of the design concept, stained doors add a truly exceptional and exclusive design element to any home.
