Door Specifications & Ordering Information

The key construction, sizing and pre-hung system details for planning your Olympus entry door project.

Construction

Solid Brazilian Mahogany with no veneers, raised moldings on both sides and a 1 3/4" door thickness.

Available Door Sizes

Single: 3'0" x 6'8" or 3'0" x 8'0"
Double: 6'0" x 6'8" or 6'0" x 8'0"

Sidelights

Olympus sidelights are available in widths from approximately 11" through 18", depending on the selected door height and glass configuration.

Pre-Hung Door System

Built with solid Mahogany jambs, 2" brickmolding, an adjustable bronze-color threshold, ball-bearing hinges, Q-Lon compression weatherstripping and a rubber door sweep.

Jambs

Standard jamb: 4 9/16".
Other jamb depths may be available for your opening. Include your wall/jamb thickness in the quote request so Nick's can confirm the appropriate setup.

Lock Preparation & Security Upgrades

Standard lock preparation is available for left- or right-hand doors with single- or double-bore preparation. 3-point multipoint locking is available as an optional upgrade for qualifying door systems. Olympus double-door systems include the Astragal Mortise Lock upgrade at no additional charge, replacing standard top-and-bottom flush bolts on the inactive door with a convenient centrally operated locking system.

Finishing

Doors are priced unfinished. Professional staining and sealing are available using exterior-grade UV stains and finishes. Finish choices can be previewed in the visualizer above.

Completely Pre-Hung — Not a Door Kit

Your door system arrives with the hinges mortised and attached to the door and installed in the jamb, along with the threshold, weatherstripping and door sweep. This reduces on-site assembly and helps simplify installation.

Planning note: Exact unit and opening dimensions can vary with configuration, sidelights and jamb requirements. Use the Door Size Calculator and send your actual opening measurements with the quote request so the correct unit can be confirmed before ordering. Brickmold lengths are limited to 101"; splicing may occur where required.
