Does your painter use exterior-grade products?
When youbre shopping locally for stain and clear coatings, is nearly impossible to find a quality exterior product. Almost all stains are made for interior applications. If these are used on an exterior door, they will fade immediately under the clear coat. If the wrong clear coat is chosen it will yellow, crack, or deteriorate. It is very important that you use a softer coating that has the ability to slightly stretch when wood expands and contracts with changes in heat and humidity, while keeping its beauty.
Our Coatings
We use a crystal-clear water-based Urethane exterior wood door sealer imported from Italy, which has nano-technology along with both UV absorbers and blockers to help maintain a furniture grade finish in perfect condition for yearsbfar longer than any competing brand. Our stains are made from fine micro ground minerals that wonbt fade with exposure to UV rays, unlike dyes and pigment stains. To top it off, everything we use for our wood door finishing services is eco-Friendly, low VOC, and safe for the environment to meet ISO14001 certification standards.
